I tried Game Maker and was a bit overwhelmed. So I want to get a game dev that doesn't require too much programming. I don't really like programming though, and art was never my strong suit, but I feel my specialty is in the design, story, and creation of games. However, 2 months ago I got laid off from my last job i had for 8 years, and I feel I need to do something with my life, and I really want to try and make games. However, due to some poor school choices and not wanting to go into the main game field due to the horror stories I was hearing at the time I never got to there. daydreamed game ideas, constantly making sonic level designs, and have thought up many games. I have been wanting to make games since I was a kid.
